----------------------SAMPLE REVIEW-----------------------
I have been training for Motocross for past 2 years. I have seen significant progress in my performance, still I was not satisfied as it was not a measured approach.
What all we did was just kept practicing laps. We had a belief of practice makes man perfect, it does but it is very important to know what was good and what was not.
There were so many things which did matter and not only the bike ride.
One of my friends recommended me to this software called MX Training Journal.
I was unaware that there are personal software diaries which could be used.
Initially I was a bit doubtful about how this could work, also the adaptability on my side was doubtful as we were so used what we were doing. However, since it was just a matter of approximately $40 and I could request a money back within 8 weeks if I was not satisfied, I decided to give it a try.
Initially it took time for me to get used to usage of the software, not because of the software but for using my laptop during my training and performing the data entry for all things. The software is easy and simple to use and has all kinds of guides included within the software. I also downloaded the videos they provide on their website for the usage of the software, so helped a lot and could use the software at ease without loosing much time.
As things moved on I was amazed by the way it worked and the benefits it provided.
It helped me know various facts which I was over looking during my training like my bike setup and my diet. It helped me keep record of my past activities and gave me a comprehensive analysis of my lap times which was the most important thing.
The software has numerous sections as per the categorization of the activity.
The Training section allows me to keep track of how I performed in various circumstances with various setups. We are allowed to enter information related to our track practice and keep record of it. We can make a search for the past track practice.
Only after using this software I realized how important the diet was for a racer.
The software has a Diet section where they have food stuff in their database to be selected for the diet schedule. Meals can be created and you can see what nutrients are consumed.
We can maintain our schedule on the software as it is not practical to remember the long schedules. So this helps me to enter my planned schedule just follow it. Everyday before sleeping I check my next day's schedule and I know what to do and when to do for the day.
The software has taken care of very important aspect that is the analysis. That is where the software wins. They have this section called diagrams which provide graphical presentations and analysis of the lap times which allows you to make a strong comparison analysis. This allows me to know how I am progressing and compare with the changes I made which affected the performance.
Overall it has helped me a lot and to improve my training and I can feel the difference of the progress I made in the first 2 years and what I have achieved for last 4 months after using the software. I am really glad even the motocross industry becoming computer tech savvy and we have technical solutions for this sport too. I will suggest this software for all motocross racers.
Cheers to John M Software to have provided us with this.
